On the 3rd of October, the Petitions Committee of the European Parliament adopted the
Draft Report on Application of the Waste Management Directive based upon petitions received
ESWET welcomes the work done by Rapporteur Iturgaiz and has analysed the amendments tabled.
In order to reflect the facts – not the fears – about Waste-to-Energy, we recommended to vote no to amendments 6, 19, 60 and 65.
