CNIM & MARTIN GmbH

CNIM, together with the Irish Lagan Construction Group, is building two waste combustion lines for the British waste management company Viridor, which will be operating the lines on behalf of the South London Waste Partnership, an organisation set up by the boroughs of Kingston, Croydon, Merton and Sutton.

MARTIN will supply two reverse-acting grates, each with 3 runs and a total width of 6.320 m.

The Margam, Wales, UK plant will be capable of processing waste wood, including contaminated wood and fuel containing metals, with no pre-treatment. It will have a capacity of 280,000 tonnes per annum, generating 40MWe of renewable energy. It will also be capable of using municipal waste as a fuel source in the future.
