Our focus

ESWET is the European Association representing manufacturers in the field of Waste to Energy Technology. The main purpose of ESWET is to foster the development and the dissemination of the Waste to Energy Technology, also called Energy-from-Waste. ESWET also seeks to raise the awareness of the positive implications of the technology in terms of Better Waste Management, Energy and for the Environment.

ESWET's technology is integrated in a Sustainable Waste Management Chain, like the Waste Hierarchy of the EU's Waste Framework Directive. ESWET believes that Waste to Energy has an important role to play both on the energy recovery and on the environmental aspects of waste management. With a strong commitment to Greenhouse Gas reductions through Better Waste Management, ESWET believes that the Waste to Energy technology is a solution to multiple challenges.
